As usual, we have a meeting a meeting this Thursday between 1 and 5. This week is the final week of the ”pre-production” part of our experiment. The good news is: We have a pretty sexy game including mechanics with potential. The bad news is: creatives talk to much instead of coding 😛

  1. Bronson says:

I’m a little bit out of the loop so it’s hard to determine the answer to some of these questions.

In my experience, the easiest way to simulate ripples is using shaders. You manipulate the position of each vertex based on their position around the emitter, and time. Everything else looks fairly straightforward.

Git Installation: We need a server for our repository. Otherwise we can use a free private service like Assembla or a paid-for service like Git-Hub. Services are slightly easier to setup.

I’m flying home from California today, so I’ll be back in town tomorrow afternoon sometime.
